Blue Card's ARFF Incident Command Certification Program Has Launched

Created in collaboration with experienced ARFF incident commanders, this program delivers real-world scenarios based on standards and processes developed by Alan Brunacini in Fire Command. This includes the standard 8 Functions of Command and Strategic Decision Making.

Why it Matters

Aircraft emergencies pose serious threats to lives within in a very short period of time. The ARFF Program enhances incident management by unifying ARFF resources and off-airport fire crews into a standard command system—ensuring stronger coordination, faster deployment, and better outcomes. Strong coordination, fast deployment, and more effective outcomes also improve the return of airport operations after an incident.

Who Should Enroll?

  • Initial & strategic-level incident commanders at metro, municipal, or regional airports
  • Off-airport company & command officers responding to airports
  • ARFF personnel & departments seeking a certification of incident commanders that is connected to continuing education and recertification system.

What Sets This Program Apart?

Reality Based Incident Simulations
